AIGA Seattle Into The Woods Code of Conduct
AIGA is a 100% volunteer run organization that advances design as a professional craft, strategic advantage and vital cultural force. As the largest community of design advocates, we bring together practitioners, enthusiasts and patrons to amplify the voice of design and create the vision for a collective future. We define global standards and ethical practices, guide design education, inspire designers and the public, enhance professional development, and make powerful tools and resources accessible to all.
Our organization is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or political affiliation. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, or social media. Conference participants violating these rules may be expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers. All speakers and sponsors are also responsible for their actions in regard to the Code of Conduct.
We expect all of our attendees to follow these rules at Into The Woods in addition to all of our events. However, if problems do arise, please bring any concerns to the immediate attention of the event staff, or contact the AIGA Seattle Special Events Director, Krista Serianni at email@example.com.
